Now 28, Paulsen co-hosts a popular daily midday talk-show on CBS Radio's 106.7 THE FAN called "Grant and Danny." He also serves as the Redskins insider at Fox-5 in Washington, DC. The Virginia native can also be seen on Comcast Sports Net in DC, a company with whom Paulsen was nominated for an Emmy for his work as a pre=game and post-game analyst. Paulsen also hosts national baseball talk shows on MLB Network Radio and Fantasy Sports Radio, two SiriusXM channels. Paulsen also spent several years writing columns about the DC sports scene in The Free Lance Star in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and even written stories that have been published by Sports Illustrated and NFL.COM.

Grant Paulsen planned to buy Valor season tickets. Now he’s the team’s broadcaster. (Washington Post)
A lifelong admirer of play-by-play broadcasters, Paulsen has always dreamed of calling NFL and MLB games on a national level. Having called countless high school football and baseball games and some minor league baseball in the past, Paulsen was just named the new voice of the expansion Washington Valor, a professional Arena Football League team that will play it's home games at the Verizon Center starting in 2017.
A graduate of King George High School and a four-year attendee of George Mason University, Paulsen credits his success to the inspiration and motivation of his supportive parents and the immense help he's received from his mentors over the years.
When he isn't talking about sports on the radio or appearing on a local TV show, Paulsen can typically be found at a movie theater or spending time with his family.

In April, 2014 MCHS became fully independent and 100% privately funded. We take cats and dogs out of overcrowded public shelters and give them the tender loving care, socialization, enrichment, and new homes they so desperately need and deserve. Our highly successful adoption program has enabled us to save nearly 500 animals in our first year of private operation!
As a private, no-kill rescue we offer a range of services designed to help people adopt new pets and then keep them in their homes and out of shelters. We provide adoption and post-adoption assistance, humane education for all ages, and outreach programs that help pet owners take better care of their pets and build a more humane, animal-friendly community.
