Experience the versatility of the marimba with Robert Schroyer, New Orchestra of Washington's (NOW) Principal Percussionist, alongside Rachel Shapiro, violin, and Jeremy Eig, clarinet. Astor Piazzolla presents the evolving history of the tango in early 20th century Argentina, Polish composer Anna Ignatowitz pays tribute to her late father, and Kevin Puts evokes the power in all us to transcend during times of tragedy or personal crisis.

Robert Schroyer
Robert Schroyer is a frequently sought-out international soloist, performer, pedagogue, and chamber musician in the Washington D. C. metropolitan area. He is currently the Principal Percussionist and Director of Operations with the New Orchestra of Washington. He has recorded professionally with the Naxos, Centaur, and Acts labels.
